Default Flopped Bottom Set In Raised Pot

I have no history on the opponent, so just think of him as generic UB player. Is it profitable overall to release any set, even bottom set, when you have no read on the player and he's playing back strong? Also, any thoughts on flop check-raise are appreciated as well.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

MP1 :#A500AF(Villian)/ ($89.45)

SB ($28.25)
BB ($49.75)
Hero ($111.85)

This could very easily be AA/KK/overplayed AQ. Get all in here.

In SSNLHE, never.

C/R is okay. I prefer a lead here, but C/R is fine.

I agree with quark that leading out is better. You have a PFR and someone who cold called pre flop to act behind you. The board is coordinated and likely to have hit someone. I would bet out ~half pot and hope to get raised (and 3 bet allin of course).

As played, call. I don't think this set over set enough to warrent folding. A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is possible too.

I don't think Sklansky would disagree. He was talking about high limit games in which players are very good.

I would lead/3 bet this all day long

The way you played it I'd still get it all in all day long

I push, villian calls w/ QQ. I didn't really feel bad about the play, but just wanted to see what the general feeling was of the folks here.

Thanks
