Not errors at all, but the "u", "ure" and "pwn" squad kind of look silly.

I'm a bit annoyed with people who don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're"

Oh. Now it's kind of obvious...the number one pet peeve:

"should of"

I absolute hate it when someone says 'less' when they should be saying 'fewer'. At least 80% of the population does it. Example: "there are less calories in fatass food A than fatass food B"

Heck yeah! I used to correct people on that one, but it became impossible because people did it too often, so now I just cringe every time I hear it.

The other day at work, my co-worker wanted a "word of the day" for her white board. I told her the word "comely" - she begins writing "cum..." I am like no, it is "come" then "ly."

"What does it mean?" she asks
"The opposite of homely"
"What does homely mean?"
"Unattractive"
"So comely means attractive?"
"Yes"
"You're so smart"
"I know, I can even spell there 3 different ways"
"Really?!"

Oh, "homely", learned me a new word. Ty ty

Arnfinn, was there ever a movement such as this one http://www.skrivihop.nu/ in Norway? Because we have the exact same problem here.

That along with the missuse of the "apostrophical" genetive case.

ie in English - Domino's Pizza
in Swedish it SHOULD be - Dominos Pizza.
But sign maker does not seem to be a profession that demands uni education

Hehe, I see they have given up . Yeah, we have a similar one:

Astronomer mot orddeling

Here you have got it right, but not us :

Og så var det svensken, finnen og nordmannen som skulle se hvem som var flinkest til å skrive. Først skreiv svensken, og gjorde det feilfritt. Så var det finnens tur, og han var ikke dårligere. Så prøvde nordmannen seg, men han greide ikke engang å skrive «kandissukker»!

I actually had a conversation with a friend about this the other day.
The biggest grammatical error that grinds my gears has to be when people misuse the words "there" "their" and "they're" over msn/aim/irc
