What does donk bet mean? I've seen it in some of the posts. Is this where somebody takes the lead and bets when they check called the previous street?

It's basically an off-tempo bet....like:

You raise preflop, get called, and villian bets into you on the flop.

Or you raise preflop, get called, bet the flop, get called, and villian bets into you on the turn.

Yes. When someone calls a bet on one street and then leads the following street with a bet, it's referred to as a donk bet.

What a sick hand. You can tell Im a former 6 max player who is used to getting 3m bet light alot. I need to stop assuming everytime my button raise gets 3 bet from the blinds that theyre stealing. O well worked this hand

I am just getting completely murdered with open ended straight flush draws and another two overs+gutshot+flush draw on flop..

Those were both two really nasty draws to not hit already..not to mention I'm already down with my usual high pairs(AA/QQ) thank god I haven't got KK yet today..
