[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] you are way too serious with these girls. asking them about school and work.. lighten it up, alot. [/ QUOTE ] yeah I agree. so what kinds of things should I be talking about. getting drunk and [censored]? [/ QUOTE ] Can't hurt. See Tony P's post earlier. I'd try and get more directly to the point. Your current beating around the bush approach is almost as if you are afraid to fail, when in reality you shouldn't care one bit if you fail. In fact, the more spectacularly you fail, the better it is for all of us. So try being more direct and stop trying to be an internet nice guy. [/ QUOTE ] excellent I'm going to message a few right and be as direct as possible. results to follow shortly |

w00t. Drinks on thurday with a MySpace chick. ![]() Edit: Ok, this is kinda long. Remember, the conversation goes from the bottom up, half the conversation was posted already, so the old part is in grey. The important party is in bold ************************************************** *************** ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Jess Date: Dec 11, 2005 4:55 AM I like that idea. Give me a call XXXXXXXXXXXX and we can figure out a time. ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Tony P Date: Dec 11, 2005 1:32 AM I develop at Costco, so Duane Reade wouldn't have any of mine I'm afraid. Yeah, the only pics I have are on here and some old vacation pics on some photo sharing thing somewhere. I was filmed by a Korean TV station at my old job though, so people might be able to get a pic from that I suppose. I like the idea of drinking more, that might help. Drinking alone would suck though. Would you like to hang out and have a drink maybe on Thursday or Friday? ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Jess Date: Dec 11, 2005 4:24 AM Well, personally .. this is the only place on the internet where my pictures are posted ... so if people wanted to steal my pics, duane reade would be the place to hit up. You? I just came of a "meh" week as well, but I have had a fantastic weekend. So I chose to concentrate on the postive (i.e. my social life) and ignore the negative (i.e. my work life which just recently started to piss me off). As much as my profile may suggest that I'm a negative, pissy bitch, I am happy about 90% of the time. Life is good ... what can I say? Ideas? Drink more. LOL. Kidding. But not really. ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Tony P Date: Dec 11, 2005 1:18 AM Jessica's a nice name, I like it. I'm not sure why the rogue [censored] would bother going to duane reade for that when they could just scour the internet for pics. Surly the modern [censored] is more tech-savy than to be rummaging in a drugstore, no? Anyway, based on your recommendation, I'm working on ugrading from "very well" to "fantastic" but coming off of a "meh" week, it might take some time. Any ideas? ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Jess Date: Dec 11, 2005 4:02 AM Nothing exotic ... just Jessica. My initials are JAP, so you've got nothing on me. There is a Metallica song called "Sad But True." Trust me, you would know it if you heard it. There is no such things as anonymity when your picture is posted. If people come across you, there is no denying that it is you. Unless, of course, there is some rogue [censored] leveraging your pictures from the duane reade developing center or some [censored]. btw, fantastic is the way to be. ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Tony P Date: Dec 11, 2005 12:55 AM Well, I'm not quite fantastic, but I am doing very well. I didn't recognize the Metallica quote. I like them, but don't listen to their stuff as often as I should. Anonymity is good, I agree. I wonder sometimes if I should drop the last initial from my name becasue it is too much information. Also, no one likes having "TP" for initials. So is Jess short for Jessica, or is it something exotic like "Jessika"? Tony ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Jess Date: Dec 11, 2005 3:41 AM Inside my apartment is the only explanation that my apparently feeble mind (kidding) can come up with at this point. Sad, but true (I just quoted metallica, that's kind of sad in and of itself). I am not using a fake name. As much as I love anonymity, I do have about 17 pictures of myself up, so a fake name wouldn't really do much to protect the not-so-innocent, no? It's nice to meet you too ... I'm fanastic, and you? ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Tony P Date: Dec 11, 2005 12:35 AM Well, you seem to be fairly smart, so I must be being unclear. Inside your apartment makes no sence, because I have no idea who you are (other than your first name) or where you live. Unless you are using a fake name, then I know nothing at all. So, I'll start over. I'm Tony, nice to meet you. How are you? ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Jess Date: Dec 11, 2005 3:19 AM Inside my apartment? I'm sorry, but either I'm being daft of you're being unclear. ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Tony P Date: Dec 11, 2005 12:11 AM Inside, yes. You're excused, though I don't think it's necessary. ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Jess Date: Dec 11, 2005 3:08 AM Excuse me? ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Tony P Date: Dec 11, 2005 12:07 AM Inside? ************************************************** ************** [/ QUOTE ] For [censored] |

This thread is great. It makes me want to get in there and make some message attempts. I think you guys outside of LA have it easier because everytime I browse LA zip-codes I get a bunch of chicks who look like they're using MySpace to jump-start their modeling/acting career instead of meeting regular dudes to drink beers.
