[ QUOTE ] Lori - what do you think of PartyBets? I hadnīt even seen that it existed until just now when I saw the banner on my Party account. How does it compare to your regular, favoutite, sports betting sites? EDIT: also, regarding the bonus deposit, I think itīs just up to 100. I might be wrong, but I think thatīs what the email said. Threw it out though so I canīt check to confirm. [/ QUOTE ] I would say it's similar to Bodog. Pretty poor odds but sometimes a little slow and occasionally seem to just offer a price that's out of line without minding too much. I wouldn't go there if I didn't play poker there, but as I do play poker there, it's a useful extra book. It is just $100, I likely worded it badly Lori [/ QUOTE ] Ok, thx for reply. I do play poker there and Iīve been planning for some time to start getting into betting sports and when I saw this I took it as...well not a sign maybe but like you said - itīs pretty comfortable when I already have a Party account. But if the odds are "pretty poor" I guess itīs not as fortunate as I initially thought that they started this...seing as how I will prolly make the occasional bet there anyway coz Iīm a lazy bastard. However. When you say theyīre sometimes a bit slow (Party Poker support kinda comes to mind, L-O-L) do you mean that theyīre not changing odds like they should as fast as they should? So like if a star player gets injured or something, they might not change their lines (err..lines IS the word no?) accordingly? What about live betting? Say Iīm watching a soccer game, biggest scorer of the season freaks out and gets a red card for his troubles, them Party people may be slow in reacting? |

I havent seen any live betting there yet. I was more on about line changes. When I say they're a bit slow, they're faster than VIP sports, they probably take 30-60 seconds to adjust their lines, they're not slow like you're thinking, just slow compared to the industry standard. They're also far from the slowest.
I do have some hope though, their points system seems to be worth at least 9 cents for every $100 staked and a lot more on some sports, although I don't recall which at the moment. Lori |

cause i can't imagine the partypoker bookmaker being sharp.
lori says it's not as slow as vip, which puts it in perspective, but you know there are going to be some stale numbers to be had. |

PartyBets is the same as Gamebookers. Party bought Gamebookers and either changed the name from Gamebookers to PartyBets or started offering the Gamebookers lines also as PartyBets. (I can't check for myself as Gamebookers blocks access to American IP addresses.)
