Uh huh. Our first son was estimated at "about 7 lbs" late in the pregnancy. He was 9lbs 10oz at birth.

Second time around has been harder. My wife wasn't well and more burden has been on me. He was colicky and needs to be held all the time. I averaged about 3.5 hrs. of sleep per day, from around 11:30 AM to 3 or so in the PM, then work at night.

It's not an adventure the second time, it's more of a grind.

Maybe other posters can chime in with a more positive story from second or more babies.

FYI

Wife has begun contracting.
Sporadic, but getting stronger and more regular.

She thinks 48 hours tops.
I'll start making more frequent updates if possible.
