Mike has excellent credit with these guys. I've seen and heard Daniel, Ted Forrest, Phil Ivey and Jennifer Harman all talk about loaning him money with no problems. Daniel has said several times that Mike is one of the safest poker players to loan money to.

I doubt the players cared that Gold was counting out individual bills. They were probably just happy to have someone in the game who had never played at those atakes before.
