[ QUOTE ]
My Apologetic Farewell In the words of Shawn Sheikan, this is a defective contest. I thought I was easily up to the psychological challenge of playing 24 hours straight, yet I only made it through 8. I would like to think that if I would have been running a little better during this session that it would have been a lot easier, but I’m not sure. I reached the point where any two suited cards that are reasonably close together started to look like aces, and that is when I realized I cannot continue. Since I have not yet dropped below the 30 buy-in amount in my Party account, it is in my best interest to quit before my bankroll’s health becomes an issue. To all of those partaking in this contest: good luck! I will be incredibly impressed if anyone can play four tables for 24 hours straight and still show a profit. I really am thoroughly disappointed that I couldn’t complete this challenge, but I must listen to the practical side of my poker mind telling me to only play when I have an edge, because right now, I most certainly do not. Good luck, and goodnight! --Keyser P.S. Didn’t mean to be so dramatic. I think it’s the Red Bull. [/ QUOTE ] Good effort man, you tried. Maybe next time you can prepare (take nap, etc) so you can get better results. Hopefully I'll muster up the balls to do this sometime. |
