[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Wait, you raise 8s9s. Flop a flush with OESFD and laid it down on the turn? Sick. [/ QUOTE ] I read it as he had a different suit than what the flop was. [/ QUOTE ] i didn't -guy who couldn't fold K-high flush 130BB deep [/ QUOTE ] lol@folding a K high flush 130bb deep. anyone else think this is a bad spot for pwning some limpers since our hand has some value and we can see a free flop if we just check vs. possibly getting raised out of the pot? according to NL T&P this BB raise should be done with the very best and the very worst of hands |

Know that I'm spewing like a lagtard?
The 98s hand was the first hand of the series of hands where I opened lightly. I recall posting something like, "I didn't play a hand for 2 orbits, so I decide to pwn some limpers" |

[/ QUOTE ] I do, checking is most def standard. However, so much goes into a poker hand, especially live. I made a bluff vs. Perry Friedman earlier, where I just looked at his bet and instantly was deciding how much to raise. Guess it sounds corny but "live poker instincts" are something to develop. Not trying to say I have great instincts or something, but at that moment I decided to raise out of the BB. Then I looked at my cards, and was just like "meh, w/e, lolz, etc, "raise". Play starts in like 3 hours, gonna eat a nice breakfast and pwn. The blind levels here are great, and combined with the 90min levels I feel real confident. |

Ouch! I assume he had 7-8 for the straight?
'Gobboboy' Jimmy Fricke takes nearly a 100,000 chip hit Aussie Millions Updates Still has nearly 40K, so has some room to move. |

Jimmy Fricke has taken a big hit. The 19 year old from Mahomet Illinois started today amongst the top ten with 139k but is back down to 90k after his pocket Aces got cracked. The button raised to 3.5k and Jimmy in the small blind raised it to 10.5. The button called and the flop came 10 6 5 rainbow. Jimmy lead out for 14k, and the button raised it up to 35k with 33k behind. Jimmy pushed and the button called with top set.
Adam Junglen has 68k. He dropped down to 20k earlier but recovered with a miracle hand. He pushed all in with pp3's and the cut-off called with Cowboys. The flop came K 6 4 and Adam was picking up his things to go home, the turn was 2 and no help, but the river was the miracle 5 giving Adam the straight adam is a lucksack and he knows it |
