Is the book written strictly for 5CD using the Joker and Jacks-or-better opening requirements? Is it applicable to 5CD games w/ no Joker and no opening requirements?

Thanks.

What book? You need to provide a little more info if you want info in return.

The OP is refering to a book Mason wrote, which I have thought about reading out of abstract intellectual curiosity.

It is a wonderful book about a form of poker, limit Jacks or better with the Bug, which is no longer played and its equally dead cousin, A-5 lowball (one draw).

However, it probably would add to your understanding of draw and have some good effects on your play but this will only be marginal.

Are you thinking about what I'm thinking you're thinking?
