Default Re: WSEx: Official Monthly Thread: January. (#5 of 5.)

I did some daydreaming while I was in the shower. Here are some more thoughts.

I would make a lot of money per hour if WPX had a party poker type player base(obviously)

How do we get there?

1. It must be worthwhile for WSX to build their player base. A few options: 1-5% off the top or 5% for a mandatory sportsbetting account or whatever else works for them. As long as I get 90%+ back I am happy. I've propped on some [censored] sites with no players for that much.

2. We need to get players. Here are some ideas.

-Create an affiliate program. 1% of rake or something. The affiliate program drove party growth, and it will work for WSX too.
-Print up flyers for us to distribute at casinos, colleges, bars etc... On the flyer have a table showing how much per hr you get back for each limit. Put a tracking code on there to give us incentive to distribute them. Make a free $100 offer or something, with a real small disclaimer on the back that it comes from their rake rebate. Figure out some way that it won't cost you anything.
- Definitely take some money from the rake for marketing. 2+2ers are greedy nits, but we also understand the need for fresh money.

Poker players, we need to work to make this happen. Back before internet poker, pros had to work hard to keep games going. Party poker days were nice, but they are gone. All the party donkeys are still out there, and more are turning 18 every day. We need to make sure they know where to play.
