For those of you that put off Helmuths antics as playing for the TV cameras--just a sidenote-I played with him well before the "TV ERA" and he was just as much a baby, Idiot as he is today--It is unfortunate that a guy who has won so much cant learn to be happy with himself.

Sad figure IMO--and Sad for poker that it cant have a better ambassador for the game from a player with such accomplishments...

Oh and I believe he was quite insistant that Duke held a hand like A8 (when she had KK) and thats especially why I was cracking up during his quotes as the best reader in poker for 20 years.

The guys obv berate him cause they have no respect for the guy as a person-not cause they are trying to put him on tilt.

They should have given him a few seconds of peace, but he deserves everything he gets really. He's such a baby, if you didn't hate him before, now you have plenty of reason.

Honestly I just got pissed that they took so much time away from poker. I need to count how many hands we're seeing in each episode, something like 25 i'm thinking. 125 hands total. I'd like a lot more than that.

The game got a lot more boring after Phil left...it's times like these that they might wind up needing a color commentator.

Phil's play was marginal...11xBB from the button with AT...raise to 3x and then fold with 8xBB left behind? I mean I guess it's okay especially considering there's one mediocre player in the blinds and he should be able to use his superior reading ability, but still...

I don't think they'll need a color commentator. With the blinds going up, many players are getting pretty shorted stacked and will have to make moves with less than stellar hands. It will make for an interesting show when people get caught with less than premium goods.

This is EXACTLY the sort of thing I hate; pre flop all-in match-ups with one or more short stacks.

Do you guys think any played that A3 right against Sheikah when the board was two pair? I probably would have reraised on the turn.

Yes, she wasn't just against one opponent, she was against two. Huck bet out and it would've been against two opponents on the turn.

I've got to say, I'm really liking the show. Lots of hands, lots of table talk.

I agree a couple of the players (OK, Phil and Shawn) seem to be going over the top trying to be "personalities" in their own right. The others just seem to be having a good time.

I love Z's dry sense of humor. Sitting at a table and listening to him all night would have to be a pleasure.

Yuck. He's highly irritating. He's almost as much of an attention whore as phil and shawn. He has to comment on every single thing that happens.
