they were a top5 defense, bottom5 offense

yeah they could use some help for pass defense but I think offensive problems are a bigger concern

More specifically, they had the:

16 rushing offense
#17 passing offense
#1 rushing defense
#32 passing defense

They definitely need help defending the pass.

Now I do agree that they could use some playmakers on offense, but I think that they can contend next year for two reasons(they are good in the trenches, they play in the NFC). And since QBs and WRs usually take a few years to develop(and since they already have prospects in QB Jackson and WR Williamson) I think they'd rather address those needs in free agency.
