better: g2cu gets pissed that noa "slowrolled" him (much less blatantly than g2cu did earlier with a flopped straight on a 25/50 table mind you) and challenges noa to 4 HU 50/1 tables.

They're playing now on "Kennedy." noa in for 10k, g2cu for ~11k

didn't have time to read the entire topic, but this is one spectacular bad beat. Had the hand the whole way - sick daddy cash on the line...anything but that heart and it's a lock. So naturally the H comes. lmao.

Ah, it's so nice to read about someone else with a hand like this - I thought for a minute there that I was the only one with luck that bad.

I just read the whole topic, all 21 pages. You people are insane. Betting $1K on whether or not some nameless, faceless stranger on the Internet won or lost money is the most retarded thing I've ever heard of. Highly entertaining, but retarded nonetheless.

You had better be doing some serious levelling somewhere for 'the most retarded thing you've ever heard of' to have any meaning to me.

I fail to see the relevance.

I think it's retarded that two strangers on a message forum are betting $1000 that some 3rd party won or lost.

what does that have to do with me leveling? Superiority complex much? I know everyone on this site is a millionaire and all, but $80K represents a lot of money to me. Just under my annual salary, and about $79,996 more than my average Omaha bet (4-8 half kill). So yes - IMO, that was a pretty bad beat. I suppose an ace on the river woulda beaten him too though, in hindsight. Still..the point remains. I'm amazed that he got called by A-J for that amount of $ in the 1st place - that's retarded in and of itself. Sure, he might have caught a H, but he had to know he was beaten....trip 7s, pocket pair - so many hands that beat him there and a 10% chance of winning with one of the 3 remaining aces or a heart? Is that worth a $25K call? Would you call $25K with that?

And then for the heart to hit - that would push me off the deep end. Guess I'm not as cool as you.

You sound like you need a huggle. Don't make me go all Captain Tom on you.

I think you misread the hand. good2cu's opponent caught his flush on the turn which is when 50K went in to the pot.

Ah - so I did...just re-read that....my eyes ain't what they used to be and I'm not used to reading through text recaps.

Thanks for the clarification - much appreciated.

I'm still not sure what my "leveling" has to do with my thinking two Internet strangers making a $1K bet over someone else's winnings/losses is retarded though.

That remains constant.
