just because the quarterback position, among others is much more valuable than the running back psotion doesn't mean a running back can't be the most underated player in the game

Aal, the point about QB's is true. They get a lot of credit.
But what about the O-Lineman? What about the shutdown corners? What about the D-Lineman? These guys are way more underrated than Westbrook is. |

If you're talking in terms of overall value, then you're right. You know I'm in the boat of QB>>>>>RB. But in terms of how Westbrook is compared to other running backs in the NFL, I would say he is very underrated. Tiki Barber is almost the perfect cast study for Westbrook - started out as a 3rd down type back, eventually morphed into an every down back and turned into one of the best in the game. It took some time for Tiki to get recognized - and Westy is in that same position. It will come. |
