I think you're wrong about Gore. Watch him play first please. [/ QUOTE ] I've seen him play a few times this year thank you. He is awesome - I even said so in this thread. But I would love to see some proof that Gore is worth more value than Westbrook. |

McNabb and Romo are about even in DPAR. McNabb is 3rd and Romo is 4th among NFC QBs. But Romo is a more logical selection (imo) since that McNabb won't be playing football for the next year or so. Even if you put in McNabb, Romo would be the alternate and end up being a Pro Bowler anyway. Romo is very deserving (imo).
And for the love of god, Vick? He's 9th among NFC QBs, barely ahead of Jeff Garcia who's racked up nearly as much value as Vick in 4.5 games. |

Who said the pro bowl is about who is more valuable? When is the last time the leading rusher in a conference did not make the pro bowl? [/ QUOTE ] Rushing yards are also a measure of value - they're just a worse measure of value than DPAR because they have a lower correlation to scoring points (and therefore winning). Westbrook leads all NFC running backs in DPAR. When was the last time the most valuable RB in the conference did not make the Pro Bowl? |

1. TO isn't more of a snub than Colston, of course him being a piece of [censored] makes it easier to say that. Colston is leading the league in first down receptions on 3rd down, he is a big play receiver and even with injuries and playing on a team FULL of weapons he has put up some big numbers. Not a big deal though, he will play in plenty of Pro Bowls.
2. Did those missed couple of weeks really prevent Ray Lewis from making the Pro Bowl? He is once again the leader of the best defense in the NFL. I dunno maybe I am way off. 3. To the OP, the NFC QB class is HORRIBLE. It is Drew Brees and then it is Drew Brees. Tony Romo has played exceptional, even last week against Atlanta everyone takes him for granted 22/29 278 2/1...that is damn good but it is almost expected from him. And now that he has been so good, if he throws one bonehead pass into triple coverage or gets greedy and tries to fit balls where they don't need to be everyone starts to hate and think the world is coming down on him. After Brees this year it has been Romo. Case Closed- If you want to talk about winning games at the QB position look no further than Tony Romo. Rex Grossman hasn't won anything, the Bears defense wins games. |
