I asked this as part of a hand thread but didn't get a response so I'll try here. What is a squeeze play? Thanks.

a squeeze is when there is an open raise from a loose player, a call, and then you reraise. if you have a tight image, the open raiser will be pretty sure you have him beat, and has to worry about what happens if he just calls (will the guy in between raise again). so he is said to be squeezed. once this guy gets out, the guy who made the original call will probably not be getting pot odds to stay in the pot, as he called with a probably a speculative hand.
