[ QUOTE ]
On the other hand, you have a pregnant 16 year old, a sexually transmitted disease possibly resulting in death, and neither partner being mature enough or experienced enough in life to handle a sexual relationship making thier future relationships more f-ed up. Seems clear to me. [/ QUOTE ] It does, wear a rubber. Perhaps at 16 you weren't mature enough to handle a sexual relationship, sorry for that, but not every 16 year old is a bumbling idiot who doesn't understand the importance of using protection and being smart. At 16 I never wrapped it though, and I'm still standing. =) |

Im 18 and my parents had an open door policy but it is basically worthless if your not home all the time, because once he does get his license then they could just drive to whomevers house that had no parents if they wanted. I'd suggest talking to him aobut what he should do to make sure she doesnt end up pregnant and talk to your son about seeing if she'll go on the pill.

[ QUOTE ]
It is impossible to get a motel room until you're 21, because ID is required upon registration. [/ QUOTE ] WTF? I lost it in a motel room at 17, no prob. I've also rented rooms for places to crash after the "after-prom" parties. Sure you don't have you pick of every hotel/motel, but so what? Or is this some new wrinkle that got added in the last 15 years or so? |

[ QUOTE ]
we've said "keep the doors open" [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] My wife and I are pretty liberal [/ QUOTE ] I don't understand. Can someone explain please - is this a US thing (land of the free?!) or are you really supposed to feel that much ownership over your son's actions when you are a parent? I'm contemplating becoming a dad but if this is how you are supposed to think I fear I will be no good. |

The 21 rule is generally casino hotels as far as I know. I'm sure there are plenty of hotels that will rent to people under 21.

Maybe she can give him backdoor action if you are worried about the pregnancy. Hey their's ways around the pregnancy issue. STD, no problem. We got cream and pills for that(depending on which one) or just let him rock the rubber. Double bag it if she's that much of a freak. Let this kid bust one off. Think about it, if you let him bust one off now he won't end up having a lot of sexual partners in college. Man those were the great days. You can be like a dog in an open kennel. Bust your nut every where you go.

Whoa double bagging increases the chances of it breaking. Increases the friction dont you know anything. I hope when you go to AC you dont double bag with those hookers cuz chances are you have aids. We dont have any creams or pills for that to say.
18 to get a motel in most places as far as I know. In addtion if you pay in cash they wont stop you unless its a nice place which he probably can't afford anyway. Econolodge doesnt care if your sons looking for somewhere |

My parents were pretty strict with me about this stuff, and I still got laid by 16.
Honestly, I feel like telling him its ok is a mistake, because it'll probably make him start pressuring the girl into doing it. Just let it naturally go on; it's more fun when you have to go through some twists and setbacks to finally get laid. Also, you have a responsibility to the girls parents to not let them have a sex place to go to...just my 2 cents. |
