Still don't know how I know the other guy's hole cards, but I think this looks like an obvious bluffing scenario.

Hello Mr. Bull!

I don't like bluffing here. Just because you can see that your opponent's bricked doesn't mean that he can't see you've bricked. When your horse is dead, it's time to dismount. Hope the pot was small on this one.

Your only chance to win this pot is bet. I don't see any other option. I still dont know how you can see opponents hand, but I think I want to know.

Default Hello,Phat! Worm and Andy are correct about ...

attempting a bluff.

My reasoning is as follows:

In a situation like this,no player will call UR bet MORE than 80% of the time on the average over time.

The pot will ALWAYS be laying U at least 5 to 1 at the showdown(on the river) on the AVERAGE over time.

Hence,U will ALWAYS have +EV expectation.

Therefore , as Worm and Andy indicated,U ALWAYS bet.

Default Hello,Worm! Remember,I stated \"Hypothetical\"...

This was NOT a REAL situation.
However, even if one does NOT know what his Oppo. has in the hole,it's worth betting out if his Oppo. exhibits passiveness.

Obviosuly if any significant amount of money has been put in the pot, and the opponent is capable of folding your only options are to bet or to check raise. In order to check raise, you have to be sure he is going to bet, and extremely sure that he is going to fold to the check raise. Therefore, I bet this most of the time.

I think this hand scenariou comes up pretty often. It really dpeends on your opponent, you need a thinking opponent capable of making a lay down. I was on some sort of straight flush draw and paired Kings on 6th. I bet out and was almost positive this guy had queens up. I bricked on the river and bet out again, knowing that this guy couldn;t possible call with Queens up if I was showing open Kings. But I would say at least 50% of opponent up tot he $20-$40 level just look at their carda and say- hey I have 2 pair, he could be bluffing, its only 1 bet and fire the chips in after pretending to think. So you need to know your opponent.
