The whole point of the curve/scale system is no one gets above a 100. You add more points to the bottom. I forget which technically refers to which (curve I believe makes the average a 75, scale means that people who score the worst get the most points iirc). Thats why everyone always hates the kid that gets a 98 because that means everyone else is gonna get 2 points. The purpose of the scale system is to make the distribution what it should be, not inflate people's grades to absurd things, and also to adjust for someone always being able to get a 100 (ie if no one gets a 100, theoretically it wasnt possible to do so).

Or you know, make the test easier so not everyoen fails it and the scale naturally falls around a C, or whatever you want it to. It's really not that hard, but I've always wondered how profs had issues with that concept.

Or if one test has an average of a 60, just make the next test easier or vice versa. All that matters is the class average at the end of the semester, not any individual test.

No one should ever get above 100 on any serious test, by definition you can't get more than 100% of the questions right.

Your profs are retarded, or don't know basic math concepts.
