$60 - am I way over the top with this?

Given his read of the player (tight): I actually like this play for two reasons:

1) It shows to the rest of the table you aren't going to give up your BB easily

2) It makes the SB think you're somewhat maniacal thus he'll likely just fold his future blinds to you.

A standard raise would prob end with the same result but going over the top accomplishes more in my mind.

Not that shoving is bad, but people will call more often than you think. Just in my last set, a guy limped from SB and called my push near 10x BB w/ KT. So sucky.
