Elvis Costello and the Attractions.. not some of the later albums, but This Year's Model beats everything. Get Happy!, Armed Forces, and Trust fit the bill nicely as well (trust might be borderline).

[/ QUOTE ] When I Was Cruel was an incredible album as well, and much more in the vein of his earlier recordings than most of the stuff he's been doing recently. Not a weak track on that one, IMHO. --Scott
