The Shelley Long years were such awesome TV that has stood the test of time - the Kirstie Alley years were still pretty good TV, but those first few seasons they worked so brilliantly as an ensemble it's unreal. Maybe it's because I'm getting old but I haven't seen anything other than the Simpson's in their prime that has made me laugh as hard. Also, early "All in the Family" and most of "Mary Tyler Moore" is exceptional. And both Newharts. |
