I think the shorts cutting into them is what looks unflattering. They're too tight, making these (relatively) fit and thin girls look like they have fat midsections.

yeah some of them are maybe a little chunky around the midsection, but those shorts are definitely pushing up on their hips/sides (or whatever the hell you call it) and making their stomachs and hips look much fatter

I'm betting everyone being critical of these girls is banging ones that are much hotter. Please. Maybe the outfits aren't entirely flattering but noone in the pictures is ugly or even average.
