Assumuing ur playing in a NO ANTE 1/5 stud high game with 1.00 low card bring-in.
Under what circumstances(if any) would U play a small PR with small/medium kicker? Just wondering SittingBull |

Almost never-- unless I thought I had the best pair and there were no players in the pot yet.

Rarely,
but, i played in a REEEEEAAALLLY tight 1-5 game at the mirage, and raising third rarely ran into resistance. small pairs in that game were good to pick up that whopping $1 bring in, and possibly a limp. in a decent game though, dump 'em. |

I like to limp late with hidden pairs if its just a buck. You can usually drag at least 2 to the river if you hit your set and often people are playing any 3 and you are ahead...
I sure don't know if its optimal, but playing that game is brutally boring if you don't mix it up a little. |

I tend to play looser than I should if the game is passive.

Well, if I'm playing in this game, it's to get free drinks. I think having a live hand would be enough to get me to limp in. Not that this is recommended strategy or anything.
