LINE WAITING at BEST BUY for PS3

Wednesday isn't insane. At the best Buy I work at we are planning on people to start tomarrow night. Definetly going to be a line by wednesday afternoon.

What do people think about holding them till the next weekend?

Either way it doesn't matter, I would say not even half of the people waiting for thema are planning on re-sale. I figure that there will be thousands on there the first weekend. Some people are waiting a week or two but I think it won't matter to much.

So what do you guys think is the best time to start camping out at lets say Best Buy?

Im up to wait in line with a couple of my friends but anytime before late thursday afternoon is pushing it.

Best Buy is going to permit people to wait in line for two days? They won't consider that loitering?

They would obviously call the cops on their most loyal customer base!




I think I got a little bit on insider information. I go to the U of M, BestBuy HQ is located in the Twin Cities. This is all just he said she said, but a kid I go to school with was told by his friend whose uncle is an exec at Besy Buy that each store is going to get 20 of each bundle. I don't know what the geographical limitations of this are, but that's what I heard. Also, I know the guy I heard it from wouldn't make it up, but again, it's bigtime hear-say.

It differs on traffic. Wheather it was a midnight release or 8am, i know one store is getting 100, but thats a midnight release.

The best buy here still had 360s available a couple hours after they opened on the release day. Fast forward to the PS3 and there were already 14 tents lined up outside of the store yesterday at noon.....WTF?
