[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] $20/HR I owe roughly $2000 to Firepay + BODOG.. Serious takers PM now [/ QUOTE ] Either you misunderstand or you are not taking this serious. They will take your sister to Brooklyn. She will be forced to live in squalor with mostly illegal alien eastern European women who are paying off their own debts. She will be forced to dance in nude bars for 12 to 14 hours each night for six nights per week. She will service dozens of men each night in the private dance area. You will be credited way less that $20 per hour for her services, more like $0.75 [/ QUOTE ] So why should he care about either her working conditions or how long it takes for the debt to be paid? After all the hours she will be working even 75 cent per hour will pay off the 2K pretty quickly. Jimbo pS: If the Russians don't get to her first put me down for 10 hours as well. Does that include swallowing? |

[ QUOTE ] Okay, Im ready to take the heat and scrutiny. A few months before US Banned online poker, I dropped about 2K on BODOG (instant check feature) and other sites via Firepay (overdrated the firepay account). Now that gambling is officially banned and Firepay is out of the "game", am I still liable for the money that is owed to Bodog and Firepay? I know firepay already handed the account over to some collection agency but I haven't heard from them in over 2 months (usually, they send a letter saying i owe this much etc) and as for Bodog, besides 2 emails a LONG time ago, I have not heard from them. I know it is ETHICALLY, MORALLY, etc wrong to NOT pay up on what I owe. But what is the ruling on this now that gambling is banned? [/ QUOTE ] Good to know you are ready, and used your real account to post this....whattajag. [ QUOTE ] oopsydaisy stranger Reged: 11/02/06 Posts: 12 [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] So what exactly is your point? Yes I do have another account for this forum but I choose not to use it anymore. My goals in posting this was to remain anonymous and get some good advice. You must feel very important now |

[ QUOTE ] Your wages could be garnished in the future. [/ QUOTE ] Can someone explain to me what this means? [/ QUOTE ] It means money can be taken from your paycheck before you get it. Right now you would see othe decutions on it like say taxes. If your wages got garnished then this moeny would be taken from your pay just like another deduction. |

[ QUOTE ]
Dude, this will cost you on YOUR CREDIT REPORT. No accounts will be closed, but Party Poker or Firepay could sell the debt to a collection agency in your country. Your wages could be garnished in the future. This debt will hang over your head. Not a great idea. [/ QUOTE ] This will never go on your credit report and your wages will never be garnished. If you don't plan on dealing with these companies again and have no moral qualms...screw em. People don't like that you are able to rip off the industry they love so easily, so you get uniformed responses suggesting that it is in your detriment not to pay them back. |

You signed up for the debt, now pay up instead of being a deadbeat putz. Our economy already supports too many idiots like yourself, so grow up, get a job and pay for what you spend.

Well, I support you.
They make millions a day in rake, nicely done. There has to be a court order before garnishment takes place, they will never take you to court. It may go on your credit, but only for a max of 7 years. |
