Why Barcelona even signed Gudjohnsen in the first place (when dozens of better forwards were available) is completely beyond me.

BTW, I've been watching La Liga matches on GolTV for a while -- what exactly are the home fans screaming when their team scores? To me, it sounds like "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" but I'm probably wrong.

gudjohnson is a excellent striker. I don't know how he's adapted to spain, but if his form is like it was at bolton and chelsea then it was a good signing

Forwards who switched clubs in the summer who are better than Gudjohnsen:

Andriy Shevchenko, Ruud van Horseface, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hernan Crespo, Jose Antonio Reyes, Carlos Tevez, Lukas Podolski, Julio Baptista, Dirk Kuyt, Obafemi Martins, Dimitar Berbatov, Fernando Morientes, Damien Duff, Joaquin, Pablo Aimar, Andy Johnson, Ricardo Oliveira, Jan Koller, Marcio Amoroso, and Javier Chevanton. Okay, it's not "dozens" but pretty damn close.

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Djibril Cisse, Alexander Frei, Craig Bellamy, Nicolas Anelka, Benni McCarthy, Mido, Adrian Mutu, and Salomon Kalou are about as good. Hell, Gudjohnsen was barely playing forward the last couple of seasons.
