If you could pick one T.V. show, such that at some moment next week, anyone watching the show would die, which T.V. would you pick. Defend your choices based on how eliminating that show's demographic would make the country a better place. I already have an answer in mind, but I want to see what OOT thinks.

im torn between the o'reilly factor and jerry springer. i dont know how many of the people who watch the oreilly factor actually hold important positions that would negatively affect the economy/politics to where the harm caused by their deaths would make the show's demographics less killable than that of jerry springer. there are virtually no redeeming people who regularly watch jerry springer.

a) it is on in the afternoon when most people who should be adding something to the economy are at work.

b) the content is white trash. so much so that if you enjoy it enough people probably want you dead anyways that all those people become happy upon your demise (same argument could be applied to oreilly, but again, useful people probably do share his views)

c) there are very few people who would be likely to turn on the show in the background and go ahead and do other stuff. (these people probably aren't hurting american society if they existed)...(oreilly is more likely to be a background/white noise kinda show although it is extremely unlikely either would be used for it)

therefore, i think it's JS FTW!
