but if there is one less way to blow their money... out of the million people who have that problem, that will help out someone. And that makes a difference

Sounds like you have a major guilt complex. Sure, we are helping all 87 people who will cause divorces and bankruptcy for themselves, but wouldn't it have been better to ban something like tobacco that causes thousands of deaths a year? (By the way, I smoke).

What you are suggesting is that the poker lifestyle is predatory, that it feeds on the poor, addicted, degenerate, and incapicated, and that a bill preventing it will at least help these people. And by that argument you imply that people who take YEARS to learn their expertise and skill are unrightfully using fishes to earn their living. If that is your view, you might as well condemn all of business in general.

Grow up, man. Poker doesn't cause divorces and bankruptcy. Idiots do. Frist wants to protect families while allowing online horse betting and lotteries. Coming from a guy that is being investigated for other issues, this is pretty silly. You wanna argue for banning all gambling and everything else that 'hurts' humanity, you should find a better forum.

You know what I'm tired of this PC [censored].

Your whole point is that I should look to the person standing next to me and think to myself "how can I make his life better" "How can I make the world better"

Guess what I don't care ANYTHING about the person next to me. I don't care about making the world a better place.
All I care about is me and my family.

Exa How am I going to pay the rent this month
How can I put gas in the Car
Food ???

You see these are real questions people have to ask in the REAL WORLD. I'm not a millionare I"m just like the other 90%of the world who's just trying to figure out how I"m going to make it until tommorow.

So please don't ask me to care about some guy who spent his money on something he should not have because HONESTLY with no bad feelings towards you...... I don't care I have my own problems and so do the MAJORITY of the non rich people in the world.
