[ QUOTE ]
The Crow is one of my favorites, but Dom already knows this. My ex and I walked out of Sin City. [/ QUOTE ] This I don't quite understand. How can you like the Crow but not Sin City? Anyway, I've never walked out, but I would have walked out of Lawnmower Man 2 if I hadn't been with friends who wanted to stay. I can't believe how lousy that was. (Not my pick of movies, I swear.) My wife and I rented Aviator but quit after about an hour. We were just so bored. Does it get better? |

i would say that i watch less than 50% of the dvds i own to the end. when i go with my gf, she wont walk out of a movie, no matter how much it sucks. when i go alone, i probably walk out on 25% of the films i see.

[ QUOTE ]
How do you people find yourself paying good money to see such rotten movies? I mean seriously, 75% of the movies people have posted there should have been ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT the movie would be god awful. [/ QUOTE ] Exactly, guess I can't relate. I always wait at least a week after a movie is out to avoid biggest crowds, and make sure that it has a solid IMDB rating and lots of positive reviews from the boards I'm on. This works two ways.. one is a movie I already had an interest in (like Jackass 2). I heard everywhere it was good so I went. If reviews were blah I'd just wait for DVD. Then there's the case of The Departed, which I knew literally nothing about until a few days ago and everyone has been raving about, so I now plan on seeing it. I guess it's different for people who go to movies all the time, it's more of a rare event for me. |

I love the Crow as entertainment. I haven't seen Sin City yet though.
