I will never use SIA again and will make sure they understand why. If they are going to pay affiliates to bring in customers, I will hold them responsible for not letting any scumbag become an affiliate.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. YOU voluntarily signed up with a guy who supposedly promised you money in an agreement between you and him. This has nothing to do with SIA. Let me guess, SIA should of contacted the U.S. government or should hire a P.I. to do a thorough background check on every Tom Dick and Harry who ever applied to become an affiliate?

If you signed up for an underhanded rakeback deal with someone at Party and they ran off and never paid you, you would quit playing on Party? It's well documented all these scenarios are use at your own risk, yet you are the only one who chooses to put the blame on the site.

This is hysterical.

Are you honestly saying that their affiliates are absolutely no reflection on them? The point is that SIA can do whatever it wants, but when it contracts with scam artists, I can hold it against them since there are a ton of sportsbooks out there and many are better than SIA.

That's fine that you think it's hysterical, but this is the way it works in the legal world. If you contract with someone to do work with you, you can be held responsible partially for their actions, both legally and in the public's eye. I don't really care about the $250, but that's what got me in the door at SIA. That's the reason why I placed wagers there well after I met the requirements for the stupid CCU deal, rather than sites I like better such as Pinnacle, Mansion and Bodog. As a customer, I'll spend my money in ways which give me the most value. You're getting awful defensive of SIA though.

Last I heard CCU was the main person of choice for the Mansion promo with the Steelers to get an extra $90 or whatever. Bodog was listed on BusterStack's page and he ran off.

Looks like you are down to Pinnacle to place your bets following your logic. Let me stiff someone on a Pinnacle payment and I'll have them post here and then you'll have no books to use by your standards.

If I tell you that if you get any ticket to Giants Stadium for a game and then I'll meet you there and I'll give you luxary box seats and I welch on it are you gonna do? Go yell at the Giants front office? Cmon now.

I signed up with Mansion through PokerSavvy and they paid promptly. Mansion and Savvy did great in my book. I'm pretty sure you're confusing those two sites here, since it was the $90 everyone was talking about in this forum. I signed up for Bodog through BW and received my kickback promptly. They both have no problems from me. Equally, Pinnacle has been a great experience as a Sportsbook. So although you've tried to skew my logic to make your point, I have to completely disagree with your assessment.

And I'll have to ask again since you did not answer. Do you think that the affiliates which SIA chooses to partner with have any relection on them at all?

[ QUOTE ]
BTW, it has nothing to do with SIA. I would defend any site againist people blaming the sites.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you say so. Sounds like you think I'm in here saying that SIA should hold most or all of the blame. If so then you're mistaken as I never said that. But do they deserve enough of the blame to lose some of my trust? Yes.

I think EVERYONE here that knows any info on this gutless bastard should share it now. Before the coals cool down. Myself and 5 friends are owed 200-300$$ each. Not by any means a HUGE amount, yet well worth the 3 hour drive to NY!Unfortunately I am what you would call computer illiterate and don't know how to track him down myself!

Oct.20 is eleven days away. We can wait until then and give him a chance in the meantime to come forward and let us know what is going on. If we haven't been paid by then, and he doesn't respond to contact attempts by then either, I'll be posting quite a bit of information. But let's chill out for now and give him a chance to come forward.
