FWIW I was playing 5/5 NL at Little Creek last night (near Shelton) and they said they are starting up a 1/2 NL game Tuesday...

How many people do you think they'll get for the $165 and $215 tournaments on the 28/29th. And would someone getting there on the 27th/28th be able to buy in or would it sell out before then?

Also,

Thanks for the info on the NL games.

It seems that the psuedo NL game at the Muck has reached critical mass. There was a game going all day today with wait list of 3-5 names most of the time. It seems to be staying at 5/10 although I think they started it at 3/5. About 2/3rd of the table was stacked over $1500.

The downside to this is that it seems to be staying at the 5/10 level, which is mainly pulling players from 10/20 and above limit levels. Probably make it tougher for players that want to stick to limit at 20/40 or 30/60.

It's pulling alot of bad players into it right now. From what I've seen, it's a pretty sweet game. Fri night it looked like a goldmine.

Some players are playing it while waiting for a seat in the bigger games. So far, it hasn't hurt the bigger games yet that I've seen. Bit lists for both on Fri night.

Not as much as taking the JP drop off did.

Well, I'm hoping to play at least one of those tournaments, so I guess at least one person

I think they are having the tournaments upstairs where they hold the Tuesday and Thursday night tournaments which usually have 10-13 tables. I'm only guessing, but would expect in the range of 60 - 100 players?

I plan to get there no more than an hour early; I don't suspect to have problems getting in. However, I live in Olympia and if I don't get in I can find something else to do. If you're driving any distance you might want to get there earlier or call ahead to see if it is getting full.

Regarding the new NL game, I hope it can sustain itself. I only get to play a few times a month, I would much prefer it over the 5/5 NL game or 4/8 limit game.
