You sent it via email, right? After the anthrax attacks the mail was off site for so long that offices started programs that auto sort and replied to most questions. The computer picks the one closest to yours. They count them though. The NRA types do the email blasts that bury you, so staffs don't even see email. You want someone to see something you need to handwrite it, then they know it's from a real person.

That takes the cake.

That is almost as bad as the nonprofit (can't remember which charity) that a few years ago mailed thank you letters to EVERYONE in their donor's list, not just those who donated that year. The letters to those who did not contribute anything read "Thank you for your contribution of $0."
