It was only once Republicans had the House, Senate, and Presidency that it finally made it all the way through. Not a SINGLE Republican. A ban has passed the Republican-controlled House year after year. It is only once they had the Senate that it made it through there as well. So why was it passing the House year after year if, as you imply, it was only the recent boom that triggered this?

I've always liked TSP. But TSP aren't you the guy that thinks online poker is rigged eventhough I used to see you playing some of the higher stakes. So you think it's rigged, and you don't play online much anymore. Why should this ban even faze you?

LOL @ the "this isn't a democracy!" crowd.
This IS a democracy, that's the problem, the "bible thumping" crowd as you put it is millions upon millions strong and they vote. That's democracy. Obviously I want online poker legal and easy to access, but if hte majority of americans decide otherwise that's not a totalitarian state, that's democracy. As shocking as it may seem, 2+2 is NOT "mainstream" America.
