I've been thinking about going on the road weekends to play PLO. There's very little of it here in NYC, and even then we usually play it in rotation with NLHE. I've known about the big games in MISS, but not these 5-10 games, they sound right up my alley.

JP OSU - Do they just run the 5/10 on Saturdays or both the 5/10 and 1/2? Any other tips on these games?

5/10 runs thur, fri., and Sat... 1/2 is kinda hit and miss... Often I'll go up during weeknights and there will be a game but on weekends sometimes there is not a game... Not sure of the rhyme or reason... I think the best course of action is to get there early in the day and start up a list and more people will be inclined to get on it...

Other tips... Just basically pay attention to the game texture... There are some terrible huge fish, which comprise most of the game, but also a handful who will never put any money in w/o the nuts... You will be able to ascertain the difference pretty quickly, making for an extremely profitable game...
