Tell me why you think your team is so good? Colt McCoy? Just know that UAB and Oregon are in another stratosphere when comparing University of North Texas and Rice. Keep blowing out some of the worst teams in the entire nation, trump up your wins then knock a rival for barely losing--well actually getting [censored] with no lube is what happened--to a ranked team and winning a close game to a team known to play ranked teams close/tough every year. EDIT: Oh I almost forgot, I can't wait for them to play Sam Houston St. this week...if only they could add Texas St. they would have the clean sweep and have played the worst teams in the state.

sidenote: Show me where I said Oklahoma is better than Texas? I never even mentioned them in the rankings and I would put them a spot or two lower than Texas until proven otherwise. All I said is that they aren't a top 10 team and that will be evident Oct 7th, which makes sense since it will be their second game of the year.

If you're not saying OU will beat Texas, then what are you saying? That a close win against the #16 team would show that Texas is not top 10 material? If so, I disagree.

I am saying I there isn't any certainty about this team. Would I bet on this game, hell no...and I wouldn't bet if I were you either for the reason that we don't really know what kind of team Mack Brown actually has. It is my personal opinion that they are still the top dog of the Big XII until proven otherwise which is actually a possibility this year.
