One truly vegas experience you need to see is Selwyn, the late night server. Rumor has it that he moved from Terrible's late night cafe to the uber-quality for cheap late night haunt, Ellis Island. This guy Selwyn is one of a kind (think of Urkle on speed), and the $6.95 12oz prime rib with ample sides and a complimentary glass of their micro brew beer is $$$. Then if your feeling lucky you can gamble at possibly the seediest casino in vegas, Ellis Island.

I've been to St. Cloud in the winter-ish time when I did radio for the hockey team at Miami-Ohio and we played a weekend up there.

I would be looking for places to go as well.
Good hockey fans though.

Getting pumped for my trip next week. Haven't really been to Vegas since I've been playing poker (more) seriously and this trip is going to have a heavy emphasis on poker.

Therefore: Please help me get even more excited with suggestions.

I've finished the list for you guys:

1. Hookers
2. blow
3.
4.
5.

Jesus, I can't believe you all left out the breakfast buffet at the B. I have never had anything that comes close. Unbelievable.

I think the B buffet sucks.

But then again, maybe I'm comparing it to Blow and Hookers so YMMV.

Happy pokering,

Howard

At some point you have to tip an entire pot to a dealer.

For the basic strip club, the iconic one is the "Crazy Horse Too" on Industrial road behind Circus Circus.

Just in case anyone goes looking for the CHToo.. Might want to check out the following link:

They in trouble!

So, with that said, try Cheetahs for the iconic vegas'esque strip club. For swankier fair, I like Spearmint Rhino. Also, if you're a Vegas local, there is quite a different list of things to do when your buddies come into town.

For instance, let us not forget the famous topless laundromat - Larry's Villa! Cheap beer, cheap women, and plenty of people to talk to if you're fluent in spanish.

AFAIK it's the only strip bar in town where the girls get an hourly wage .

There was also this one pit out on boulder hwy where the girls would crush your beer can with their ass for a buck. Called celebrity or something? Good fun for the whole family, I tell ya.

Fremont St Exp
Star Trek the Experience
Playing Pan with Jackie Gaughn at the plaza (it's true baby)
Play 1-3 stud at el cortez ( I smoke and I need a air filter for this one)
9lb hamburger at the Vegas Club
Just downtown in general. People miss out on so much of the vegas experience when they skip out on downtown.

Get hammered and go play in a game where the money isn't that important to you. Bad beat grumpy locals and laugh at them.
