When I saw poster - Hotmark - I remembered "The Best Hand I Ever Played"
I know he plays a ton of hands, but I have no doubt he remembers this hand and will never forget it. * Unfortunately, I don't have the hand history so I'll have to remember the hand from memory. 5/10NL Party Poker Ashley_Judd(~1300) Hotmark777 (cover) Ashley_Judd (AdQd or so I thought) raises 30 to 40 Hotmark raises 90 to 130 Ashley_Judd calls 90 (tilt) Flop T9x with two diamonds (flush draw with overs baby!) Ashley_Judd bets Hotmark777 raises Ashley_Judd raises all-in Hotmark777 calls Pot ~2700 Turn: 8d River: Jd Ashley_Judd wins pot The next day, I jumped online and Hotmark started going balistic. He started criticizing me on how I ran off a straight on him the day before for a 2700 pot. I informed him I made a flush on the hand. He disagreed. I found the hand history on PokerTracker and low and behold, I had indeed made a straight on the hand in question... I had mistaken my AhQh for AdQd and had played my hand as if I had two overs and a flush draw. Wait, it gets better, I had three/four friends standing behind me watching the hand from start to finish. Somehow none of us noticed my misread of my suits. In fact, we were elated when I turned the nut flush. However in reality, the board ran off a four card straight in addition to a four-card flush and my queen was good enough to crack Hotmark's KK, no diamond of course. Nice hand me, I immediately started using the four color deck option. |

I was in a game at the Hustler casino a few years ago and got in with this jerk at my table. I guess he was drinking and had prior disputes at the table but nobody stoodup or shut him up,but anyway he was a [censored] jerk. After about 20 minutes of us going back and forth to each other and pissing everybody off at the table, a guy said "I'LL give both of you $100 each if you shut up and play poker". To which I replied to the jerk to make a prop. bet of $500 as to see who spoke first and he agreed. After about 15 minutes of absolute silence from both of us I got up and went to the asian games side of the casino and told my twin brother of the bet and we switched clothes. As he sat down at the poker table he asked the guy if the bet was still on or not because he was tired. The jerk than started going off as to how I lost and wanted his money. I taped him on the back as I was right behind him and as he looked back and saw me the whole table started to die and pretty soon the whole high limit section was in tears. He got up and left the casino p.s. I never got paid. [/ QUOTE ] But you talked to your brother first! You lose. |

Ok heres another good one.
Last summer I played a lot at a NYC poker club, AP for those who knew it. Nick Shulman played there a lot, usually at the biggest games. Typically I played 1/2 nl back in those days, and the games were always soft. One day however after killing the 1/2 for a couple hours, I decided to take a live underrolled shot at the 5/5 game. It was 500 buy in and generally played insano aggressive and super fishy. I was playing fairly tight but hit some hands and ran my stack up to about 1200. There was a real character in the game, who most people called "Ace." (preceded by a first name, which i won't mention). He was loud, constantly hitting on the female dealers, chatting everyone up-- being very obnoxious overall. One time I was in the place he was trying to borrow money from someone after going busto (he was a huge degen) and when the guy refused he said "What? Don't be so cheap, what are you, a [censored] jew?" Anyway, onto the hand. I open raise ATs to 20 from the CO, and 'ace' calls in the CO, 1 blind calls. Flop is 34T with 1 heart (I had no hearts). I bet 60 after the blind checks, and 'ace' calls, the bb folds. He then says to the dealer "come on baby, let me hit my hand ONE TIME." He was already stuck a few K this session and was definitely on perma tilt anyway. Turn is a 7 of hearts. I Bet 150 and he looks at the dealer and says with a straight face "I got half the [censored] deck for my hand here, COME ON ONE [censored] TIME." At this point, I'm sort of certain he has a A5h or pair+flush draw type hand. River, is an offsuit ace. I look at him for about 5 seconds and he was staring directly at the river card. I figure if he has 25 or a 56, I'm never folding anyway against this clown, so I may as well just bet myself and try to get a call from worse hands. He has about 650 left, and I realize that if he hit the ace he will prob call anyway, so I announce "all in." Immediatly 'ace' slams his hands on the table, and starts cursing. He looks at me and says "what do you have kid? If I fold will you show me? If I fold, can you please show me? Huh? yes?" I basically become a statue and dont say anything. He is sitting there talking through the hand outloud, being a real douchebag. Eventually someone else at the table gets fed up and calls the clock on him and 'ace' really gets pissed. He is visibly sweating and becoming hysterical. "[censored] [censored] [censored] [censored], I am down so much tonight, I swear to god why am I so [censored] unlucky. Any other river card I know if I can fold or call, this one is a tough decision. [censored] me." With about 20 seconds left, the dealer says "20 seconds bud." He only gets more hysterical. "10 seconds sir" Finally 'ace' sticks his face out onto the felt basically, and says very firmly to me: "Listen kid, WILL YOU SHOW IF I FOLD." I don't say anything at first, then realize that he's too dumb to be doing any angle shooting or multiple level thinking, so I very calmy say "I will not show you if you fold, definitely not." "5 seconds" 'ace' then yells "OK I CALL THEN!!!" and victory slams ace five of hearts onto the felt and made one of the most priceless and helpless looking faces I have ever seen as he was waiting for me to turn over my hand. I quickly flip up top 2, and he goes NUTS. He doesn't say anything to me, he just slams his chair over, and starts ranting and cursing like a total lunatic, and runs out into the main room. Right after he left the room the entire table went crazy, howling with laughter and giving me high fives and pats on the back like I was somehow a hero for busting the psycho. After a few hands, a regular who was quite good leans over and whispers to me, "Hey kid, just so you know, if you wanted him to call, you could have just said you weren't gonna show your hand in the first place, the guy is totally clueless." Was definitely a story to remember for me. |

I guess online my favourite experiences involve stacking donutboy and hearing him cuss, and winning my seats in the pp million cruise, aussie million and 4 total wsop seats. Still havent won a big tourney yet. |

[ QUOTE ] Not my finest moment, still fun though: October 2005 i was playing in the EPT event in Baden. I played a few big live events before, but never got close to the final table. In Baden everything was going well though and before i knew it i survived day 3 and was on to the televised final table! Obviously i was really psyched to play the final table. Day three ended pretty late, so after a beer or two i tried to get some sleep. When i woke up there was only one thing on my mind... TELEVISED FINAL TABLE SHIP IT. I was chipleader by the way and as soon as i got there we had to do some interview stuff and stars started talking to me about some sponsoring. I didn't have time at all that day to sit down and chill down a bit because of all the stuff going on pre play. Before i knew it they were hooking us up with mics and the play started. I expected to be really nervous, but to be honest I was quite relaxed. Or at least I thought... After about half an hour of play i realized what i had forgot to do because of all the hassle before the final table. I forgot to take my morning dump!! At first i thought i could make it until the brake, but it started to really distract me and i was folding more than usual. After some uncomfortable squirming in my chair I decided that it would be better to miss a hand or three than to not feel comfortable so i went for it. The toilet was pretty far so i sorta started running (with the crowd wondering what the [censored] was going on obviously). I ran into the toilet and after some very loud farting (you know those nasty "I SHOULD'VE GONE EARLIER" farts) I dumped a good one and felt a lot better... ...until I noticed i forgot to take of my Microphone!! I finished up third and Patrick Antonius took first. Stars sponsored me for one event and never offered me anything after that anymore [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] fun read. now I feel like MS painting something into this... [/ QUOTE ] oh wow, i think i met you at the mirage playing 2/5 NL about maybe 18 months ago or so. |
