The call he made after the flop in the 99 hand made me want to puke. At that point he was no longer playing to win; he was playing to move up one spot in the money.

i had a tight image, and was raising EP, not MP. i was raising to steal the blinds, at that point, and happened to catch a good flop i could also bet out to take down.

I don't know what the chip situation was exactly, but why did you push the turn? Do you regret that at all?

[/ QUOTE ]I wondered this as well. I think either a check or a smaller bet would've been better, although obviously we saw the cards. Were you afraid of a flush draw or set(FH draw)?

i had around 2/3 pot, so i thought it was a fine time to bet. given that board, i thought the likelihood of a check behind was too great for me to get tricky.
