Williams, Brown

The Eagles are liable to put up 50 this week.

I disagree. You're biased and so am I. Someone not a Bills/Eagles fan?

This has nothing to do with bias. The 49ers are not a good defensive team and they have a poor secondary. The Eagles are a very good passing team. Put two and two together, and the Eagles should score a lot of points, which means Brown is a good start.

I mean look at last year:
Eagles 42, Niners 3
McNabb 342/5TD

Do you think either team resembles anything of last years teams?

Last year McNabb had TO, they were rolling at the time and had confidence of the SB. This year they have some confidence although that was kinda shot last week during the fluke loss. Stallworth has done a good job at the #1 WR spot so far this year and Westbrook has been strong.

With that being said, the 9ers look a lot better than last year. Bryant is a huge upgrade on the very soft Brandon Lloyd. Gore is lightyears ahead of Barlow. Smith with Turner, is lightyears ahead of where he was last year and Vernon Davis when healthy is a very strong weapon.

Defensively, your right they aren't that strong. They need secondary help and their line is aged while their linebackers other then Lawson aren't exactly young. Parrish is still very good, and Spencer has his moments. The rest of the guys I don't exactly trust yet as a fan.

I expect the Eagles to win. But I expect the 9ers to put up a fight this year instead of the horrid performances they've put out over the last couple of matchups versus the Eagles. Another thing is the 9ers do play much better at home. Hopefully, barring serious injuries to Gore, the team will come around and start winning again. They now have 4 players offensively, who I trust in Bryant-Smith-Gore-Davis. Their line is getting better especially the young guys. They have a long way to go defensively, they need another WR target (I'd LOVE CALVIN JOHNSON from GT), and we need a dominant line on both sides of the ball (Offensively, we have some young good players).

You haven't paid much attention to the Andy Reid Eagles, have you?

The Eagles (sans 2005) rarely lose two games in a row. They are excellent at bouncing back. In 2002, the Eagles took a 21-0 lead into halftime against Tennesse and lost for the same reason they lost on Sunday - they let up. Did the loss shatter their confidence? No, they won their next three games by a combined score of 116-37.

Sure, that's 2002, and most of the players are different. But the mindset is the same.

Um, so? How will that help the Niners stop McNabb? If anything, the Niners will put up points and force the Eagles to throw more - thus scoring more points.

Ahhhh, so we agree. Ok.

I expect the Eagles to win....blah blah blah....nothing to do with fantasy....

I'm not sure where that rant came from, but it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Look, I'm not bashing the Niners, they are headed in the right direction. But the Eagles are liable to score a ton of points this week for reasons we both agree on, don't take it as a shot against your team.

Ok folks, should I start Addai or Bernard Berrian for the WR/RB spot? I have Addai now (he's a stud, just wait), but Grossman seems to really like Berrian.

Yeah, I fully expect the Eagles to score more points. But maybe this is where a math-oriented board comes in handy.

Lets say on average, Philly scores 2 more TD's than Buffalo. These TD's could come from Westbrook, Stallworth, Smith, etc. If the Bills score thru the air, there's a really good chance Evans will catch it. This has to count for something, no?

Doesn't Evans have like 40 total yards?
