I only shave after showering, then after shaving I shower again for about 1 minute...

I wear flip flops about 99.5% of the time

I had about a one-year phase of this probably about the time I was 12. Never told anybody about it and always thought it really weird until a couple years ago. I then saw something on PBS or Discovery or some such on the brain and they claimed this is very common and is just a phase the maturing brain goes through. Most kids "outgrow" it.
