Does this post clear or indict Zurvan? Do you think, Patton knowing that he is going to get lynched, that he would readily bring out one of his fellow Republicans? I have my opinion but I'd like to hear from others first.

I agree that this does not indict Zurvan. I think it was more of a last shot at "looking like a villager who knows hes about to die and wants to provide assistance to us of where to go after hes dead" type strategy.

Regarding books:

I think voting for him because he was wrong about patton is awful. Being wrong <> being a wolf.

However, the way he went about defending patton, and one thing in his posts that I've noticed about him before, are what makes me think he is a wolf.

I think we should be lynching Tokyo first. If he is a wolf, I find it far more likely that wdc is as well. If Tokyo is a villager, then I'll re-examine my thoughts on wdc in light of that.

Zurvan had been pushing for Patton quite a bit throughout the day... in my head I translated Patton's remark as "omg, I'm a villager, and this WOLF Zurvan keeps trying to get me lynched! Save me and vote him instead!" I'm not certain, but I think Patton had made another remark about Zurvan previously, before it was becoming obvious that he was going to die. Zurvan is certainly one of the last people that I would consider lynching atm.

I will explain, but it is going to sound like a crap explanation. Patton played this game all the time and then stopped maybe six months ago. I liked playing with him and thought he was a strong analytical player. Thus it seemed kind of perverse to lynch him as soon as he showed back up.

His posts were pretty bad yesterday. So bad that I thought he was just being lazy and was too good to make them as a wolf. So it was a combination of not wanting to lynch him for reasons outside the game, and thinking that his posts and his lack of self-defense made him more likely to be a villager.

MDD I'm with you. I'm about a 75% on Zurvan being a villager right now. This could change in a few days, but for the last 2-3 days, don't expect a Zurvan vote out of me unless he comes out with something incredibly wolfy.

Besides the obvious targets of books and Tokyo, I'm also going to review some posts by Luckayluck and Magra.

To elaborate: I also don't think Patton is throwing another wolf into the flames there. It just doesn't seem right on Day 1 of a long game. It also doesn't seem to mesh well with his posts, and getting defensive and leading us to another wolf with less than half an hour to go in the day with no real reason why seems tenuous at best.

Also, BobO and dmk have garnered a bit of suspicion today. I think it might be safe to say that maybe Magra is wolf with either dmk and BobO, and is throwing AaronK out there, and if Aaron ends up as a villager, it could clear one or two of them.

Basically, they are in separate camps.
