When I floss, whatever food comes out on the floss, I eat. Drives my wife insane.
kurosh, "I keep five different flavors of toothpaste in my bathroom. I like having a selection." GREAT idea. kidcolin/funkymunky, "2.5 lbs. I've done 2 lbs numerous times. I weigh ~168." "Damn, that's one big pile of [censored]" Gotta be the water weight, i.e., the urine, right? GA, count me in. After reading the posts, I can't believe I thought I was the only one. |

[ QUOTE ] I can't watch embarassing moments on TV especially on sitcoms...if a character gets in an embarassing situation I have to change the channel. One of the many reasons I can't watch Friends: that's the plot of every episode. [/ QUOTE ] I'm the same exact way. When ever I see someone about to make a really big fool of themselves I flip the channel. [/ QUOTE ] That is so weird that you guys find this uncomfortable. Are all you guys who feel this way, also extremely shy and nervous??? |

[ QUOTE ]
I used to do this 100% of the time, now I just catch myself doing it occasionally, maybe every couple days or so. I pretend there is a lasar shooting from my truck. It must continually shoot, but I control which side it comes from and have some control forward and backward. I have to avoid hitting cars and driveways. That's all I can think of. . . [/ QUOTE ] Wow. I'm feeling more and more normal every post. ON a related note, I used to have a problem with road rage. Not to the point that I chased people down, just really loud and screaming and such. Anyways, I started imagining I have this rocket launcher that pops out from under the hood, and would shoot at people who cut me off. I make this sound, "Psssssshhhhhhhhhh" to mimic the sound of the rocket flying off at its target. It calms me down, and keeps the blood pressure out of the red zone. My wife is even used to it, and will make the same sound automatically. |

[/ QUOTE ] I dont think it has anything to do with being shy or nervous, it just bothers the hell out of me to watch it, makes me very uncomfortable. A lot of the situations that bother me when I watch them on tv I think I'd actualy enjoy watching irl. |

Last weekend I went to a freinds wedding. During the reception her brother gave a speech, and he was very obviously nervous. His voice was shaking and he looked so uncomfortable. I really felt bad for the guy, I actually couldn't watch him. Is this what you guys are talking about? But ive never felt this way on TV. |

To anyone who frequently talks to themselves:
I don't talk out loud to myself but I do have long conversations in my head a lot, especailly when I can't sleep. These are 2 wierd things that happen as a result. 1) Often I think that I have already had a conversation with a person, or told them something specific, when indeed i never did. 2) When at least 15-20 minutes into my self rambling I stop and wonder how I got onto that topic. I try to backtrack through the 6 or 7 previous topics and see how they're associated, to figure out how that line got started and where it derived from. Once I've made the connections, I quickly go through list in the correct chronolgical order (I was thinking about A, which led me to B ..... G). Phew! Now I'm at peace. Back to the rambling. |

[ QUOTE ]
I wear shorts probably 98% of the time I'm home (and that incudes winter). When I rub my left eye, it makes a sqeaking sound, which is audible to other people, and seems to gross them out for some reason. Meh, it feels good when I do it, so it MUST be okay. [/ QUOTE ] Dude i have the same thing, it feels like an air pocket in my eye or somethin. |

I don't chew chocolates. I suck on them and let them melt in my mouth. I enjoy them so much more this way.
