Walken I don't think counts, because he was already really famous at that point. That's why I left Dennis Hopper off, too, even though he's in the flick.

Nicholas Cage in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". He is so not famous at the time, he is listed as a coppolla in the credits.

How about TV 'stars' in earlier movies? I was amazed to find out that the retarded brother in "Something About Mary" plays the tough Dan Dority in "Deadwood" (W. Earl Brown). He even wrote an episode or two.
Also- Eliza Dushku as Paul Reiser's daughter in "Bye Bye Love".

Michael Imperioli in Lean on Me.
He is one of the students rounded up and expelled by Morgan Freeman. He has a badassed mullet and no speaking lines but its him.
