Default $11 - KK with unfavorable flop

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG+1 (t1560)
Hero (t1240)
MP2 (t1110)
MP3 (t1230)
CO (t1110)
Button (t2140)
SB (t2145)
BB (t1490)

Preflop: Hero is in MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="gray">UTG folds</font>, UTG+1 calls t30, <font color="red">Hero raises to t120</font>, MP2 calls t120, <font color="gray">MP3 folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>, <font color="gray">SB folds</font>, <font color="gray">BB folds</font>, <font color="gray">UTG+1 folds</font>

Flop: (t315) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Is leading into this flop even worth it? Thinking that even if he doesn't have an ace, if I check it, he'll likely bet it. A 3/4 pot sized recon bet just throwing away chips in this sort of scenario?

Thanks in advance!

I forgot to mention, he was 35/6 (or close to that) but not a huge sampling of hands as it was only round 2.

My gut was to lead and if he came over, then consider folding depending on what kind of action.

(Btw, thank you AMT for all your judgement and advice, I think you've commented on every thread I've posted (all 3? lol), and thanks to all the others who spend their time helping us donks get a bit better!)

I lead here, if I get a call I'm check/folding any later streets.

Dirk,

I am certainly leading here. Bet about 3/4 the pot. At an 11 if he shoved into me I would call...if he smooth calls I would be scared and maybe maybe check fold the turn.

Just in case anyone was curious, this is how this particular hand played out post flop.

<font color="red">Hero bets t210</font>, <font color="red">MP2 raises to t990 (All-in)</font>, <font color="gray">Hero folds</font>

Thanks again .

I feel like I'd lead reevaluate. A push probably doesn't mean an A (the average $11 player wouldn't shove the A), so I think it'd be read dependent. Could be a flush draw or a lot of pairs &gt;6.

With the short time I had played with him, he had been shown to be tight. Small sample due to being round 2 and all. Maybe he thought I wouldn't bet the ace and thought I was ripe for a steal. We'll never know :P.
