How much would someone have to pay you to eat vegan for a year?

Man, do I ever love a good steak. That said, I would consider going vegetarian for about 10k. Vegan, sheesh. That takes such an incredible amount of work. It would have to be about 50k.

What I was getting at is that for that much money being a vegan would basicly be your job, and I know if I had to make a choice between being a vegan and working 40+ hours a week I'd instantly chose vegan and it's not even close.

I also think if you bother to cook you can make some really nice vegan meals. Like you can have thai green curry, either using quorn in place of chicken/pork or having it just with vegetables such as eggplant and shitaake mushrooms. It is really yummy.

I am pretty sure there is a misconception of what vegans eat.

I rarely eat salads.
Peanut butter and jelly, pasta, bagels, chips and salsa, are all naturaly vegan.

Also there are lots of meat/dairy analogs that do a decent job.

Along with silk soymilk which is pretty good.

I am vegan, I usualy eat pizza, pasta, lasagna, chinese food, indian food, ethiopian food, vegan cakes, vegan cookies.

Many apple pies are naturally vegan.

Almost all bread is vegan.

I could go on and on.
It's not like you are eating grass, lettuce, salad, alld ay.

yes I do, it'd be very interesting for this question to be asked somewhere else and compare the results. I know there's a lot of people on here making loads of money, but I dont think your average ooter is pulling 300k/year at their job/poker.
