i think what we are doing is this:

there are a few people who cant do it anymore, but there is interest in others taking over so that's fine. we have a pretty good core of people.

we take the rosters of the people who are leaving and combine all those players into a pool. then the new people redraft from that pool. there are a lot of quality players in there so the news teams will immediately be competitive. then we will do a rookie draft with everyone. me and bugstud will contact people and get this moving.

Sorry I didn't get in here sooner. Warmongering Dillo ready for action.

Also, Del's Drinkas is a pal o' mine (as well as a fellow lover of Del's lemonade) -- N4TE91 on aim. Doesn't come in here but is returning for the season as well.

Yeah I am in. How is the order of the rookie draft going to work now that teams are being replaced?

Of course you like that idea because your team needs a lot of work. I would have been quite happy with the team as it is, as I love to make deals and work the FA wire.

what team was i taking over? maybe i would have taken over danvh's roster which is loaded, then i'd end up with a worse team than i would've had. It's a great idea, because if multiple teams are being replaced, its not fair to give one person a loaded team and another person a bottom of the barrel team.

Excellent to see things are coming together. Mark- do we still have the divisions from last year, and are we maintaining them? AOL and some others allow multiple divisions in free leagues, but if we were going to switch that would be another thing to work out in a hurry.

For those just joining up, Bugstud was kickass enough to pay for a premium Yahoo league last year out of his own pocket to get us divisions.

*Bump*

Any developments? I will be away from Friday morning until Monday night, so I'm hoping we can get the ball rolling as soon as possible. If a rookie draft was taking place I could leave a list, but as of last year we had no firm decision on how many players we would be rostering, and thus how many rounds/veteran cuts etc.
