[/ QUOTE ] I am somewhere between you two. I liked By The Time I Get To Arizona, and a few other songs on that album. At the time I thought it was a bit sub-par, but far better than the other rap out there. Unfortunately, every thing after that was complete crap. Yo Bum Rush The Show is also pretty terrible though. It is interesting only as a curiosity for a die hard fan, but it isn't close to their two great albums. PE made two of the all time great albums, one pretty good one, a mediocre one and then a sea of crap.

Agree with Numb but U2 made a nice comeback from the dip -
Rumour has it they are leaning towards hip-hop/electronica for their next album - God I hope not.

When looking at the title of the thread, when this song became popular, I knew it was the downfall of everything I loved. If perhaps, you don't believe that this was the song that lead to it, we can all agree that everything after Apocolypse 91 was garbage, right?

[/ QUOTE ] If you want to talk about Apocalypse 91, that's okay, but "Arizona" is one of the best PE songs ever. I don't understand how you can like Public Enemy and not love this song. Yo! Bum Rush The Show: ehh Nation of Millions: easy top 3 rap album of all time. My choice for PE would be "He Got Game".
