Default Re: Build your NBA starting lineup

PG Chauncey Billups
SG Ray Allen
SF LeBron James
PF Kevin Garnett
C Ben Wallace

Coach: Phil Jackson

Bench: Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Bruce Bowen, Shawn Marion, Andrei Kirilenko, Tim Duncan, Brad Miller

I like Ray Allen as a shooter. I added Bruce Bowen just to have one dirty lockdown defender. I also like Miller as an offensive frontcourt guy. I put KG over Duncan just cause I like KG a lot, even though I think Duncan is clearly a better fit here.

1. Billups
2. Kobe
3. James
4. AK47
5. Duncan

Talent wise at the one I would take Wade but his lack of 3 point shooting wouldn't fit the team well. At the 1 you need somebody who can stand outside the 3 point line and hit open shots b/c of all the attention Kobe, James and Duncan will bring. Billups doesn't need to dominate the ball and may be the best defensive PG.

Kobe and Lebron are pretty obvious.

We have enough scoring on the team so I like Kirilenko at the 4. Maybe the best defensive player in the league, a very good passer, and can score moderately well.

Duncan, another obvious choice...
